Currently, the Travel and Description team is working to expand the dataset by adding additional descriptions and images as well as working on additional modes of analysis. We are looking for sources that will populate notably emptier sections of the map such as South America. Additonally, there is a Python code in development that will focus on textual analysis and accompanying visualizations. We are also hoping to reveal the page focusing on the idividual travelers and their biographical information soon as well.
